Strengthening the body is essential to any dancer's training. Practicing correct technique is required on the path to becoming a dancer. Three classes; Stretch & Strength, Flexibbility and Turns & Leaps are offered to meet these needs. Contact Allegro Performing Arts Academy to join.
Stretch and Strength is an injury prevention class that also helps with flexibility. Your own dynaband, tennis ball and towel is required for this class. Wear comfortable clothes: dance clothes/workout clothes
Conditioning and practice of good technique will increase a dancer's ability and their longevity in the art.

Dance clothes of your choice, sweats/t-shirts, etc... can be worn through the first part of warm-up and then need to be removed for the teacher to be able to see their alignment. Black jazz shoes, although higher levels may choose to perform with bear paws, etc...
